The theme of the LEW 2018 conference is Work and Wellbeing and the programme is focused around four core themes – Gender equity in the workplace; Health, safety and wellbeing; Labour market trends and wellbeing;and Employment relations and wellbeing.

Day 1 includes the stream on Gender equity in the workplace, building on Professor Marian Baird’s keynote address and includes the presentation of research papers related to pay equity, occupational gender segmentation, and managing gender equity. The stream on Health, safety and wellbeing is also presented on Day 1 and includes papers on the management of health and wellbeing as well as mental health issues in the workplace.

Day 2 starts with a keynote address from Goran Roos that focuses on work futures, particularly in the face of digital and climate changes. The streams that follow focus on Labour market trends, including future work issues and income and inequality as well a stream on Employment relations and wellbeing, both regulatory changes and employee representation.

Our  keynote addresses focus on gender equity and workforce futures.

NOTE: There may be changes to the programme should further papers be confirmed. Late submissions related to the current streams are welcome. Please contact Dr Stephen Blumenfeld, if you are interested in a late submission.
